The journey from the Yapap / Yammini area takes around 1 hour to get to Kalig Beach

General Tips
Note that the area is only accessible via boat.
This is a fantastic spot to stop for a swim or snorkel, known for its population of resident baby blacktip reef sharks.
For this reason it is also a good idea to bring reef-safe sunscreen.
The beach itself is on a peninsula so its possible to walk across both sides.
There is also a small lookout up on the very western corner that offers some views of the surrounding bays.
This is a very peaceful spot so be sure to respect it by taking all of your rubbish with you.

Kawawapop Love Lake: In close proximity to Kalig Beach, Kawawapop Love Lake is also located in the southern section of Misool.This naturally heart-shaped lagoon is known for its striking aerial viewpoint, where vibrant turquoise water contrasts beautifully with the surrounding limestone karst formations.
Dafalen Peak: Located directly opposite Yammini Homestay, Dafalen Peak offers panormaic views over another love heart shaped lagoon in the northern part of Misool. This would take around an hour to get to from Kalig Beach on a long boat.
