How to Get to Yamnini Homestay in Misool
The easiest way to get to Yamnini Homestay is by long boat from the Yellu Harbour, organised with the homestay.
From Yellu Harbour to Homestay
Long Boat
After arriving at Yellu Harbour in Misool via either the fast ferry or overnight boat from Sorong, you will need to arrange a local long boat transfer to Yamnini Homestay.
It’s best to organise this directly with the homestay through WhatsApp at least a week in advance, allowing enough time for them to coordinate pickup times around ferry arrivals
Compared to other parts of Raja Ampat, the transfer was very reasonably priced and also provided a scenic introduction to Misool’s limestone islands and turquoise lagoons..

Yammini Homestay offers simple overwater bungalows built in the traditional Raja Ampat homestay style, positioned directly above shallow turquoise water and coral reef. Rooms are basic but comfortable, focusing more on the remote island setting and direct ocean access rather than luxury facilities.

If you are on an island hopping trip during the day the homestay will also provide your lunch in a takeaway container

Approximately 20 minutes away by long boat from Yamnini Homestay is Harfat Jaya Peak located on Dapunlol Island.
The peak is one of the regions most striking viewpoints, providing an elevated vantage point to look out over a spread of limestone karst islands, shallow turquoise lagoons, and intricate reef systems.
Dafalen Peak and Lagoon
Located directly opposite Yamnini Homestay, Dafalen Peak is one of the most scenic viewpoints in Misool, overlooking a naturally formed heart-shaped lagoon surrounded by limestone karst islands.
The viewpoint is reached via a short but steep hike, rewarding the climb with panoramic views across the surrounding turquoise lagoons and reef systems.
